His father, Gary Lee Seacrest, thought it was unusual but didn’t think much of it.

Seacrest used his time indoors to learn his trade and to develop his technique as a radio host.

Host Ryan Seacrest would make cassette tapes of his shows and he would even create messages for his parent’s answering machine. When people used to call the Seacrest’s home they would sometimes here the answering the machine. They thought it was a professional service they were listening to. People also got excited by the tapes he would make for his own personal radio show. Once again people thought the young Seacrest was a professional radio personality.

According to Forbes, Seacrest was a very ambitious young man. Despite his shortcomings with his physical appearance, he continued with his passion of radio hosting. He eventually landed an internship with a radio company which in turn helped him to get a weekend radio spot. He was now a professional radio host by the time he graduated high school.

Eventually, Seacrest graduated high school and majored in journalism at the University of Georgia. From there he went to Los Angeles by the time he was 20. He then hosted a few kid’s programs during the 90s and he eventually started to increase his work in radio. His fame grew and so did his brand. By the time American Idol rolled around in 2002, Seacrest was considered the best man to host this amazing new show. In 2004 he was selected to emcee or deejay American Top 40. Ryan Seacrest still continues to thrive as a great media personality and TV show host.
